What is a Scrufah?
Say no to synthetic kitchen sopnges and plastic baby bottle brushes! Scrufah is an all-purpose scrubber made with 100% loofah vegetable and stitched with 100% cotton, so it’s fully biodegradable and can be composted.
What is loofah?
Loofah is a relative of the cucumber that is primarily grown in warm moist climates. It is a sustainable plant that is grown for food as well as other uses like these scrubs. Loofah fiber dries quickly, scrubs extremely well while still being soft and non-abrasive.
How to use:
Scrufah is dried and compressed when we ship it; in order to use it simply run under water for a minute and Scrufah will become soft and ready to be used for all your scrubbing needs!
Scrufah pads are remarkably resilient and will provide roughly 2 months of continuous use. When you are ready to dispose of a Scrufah pad, please either remove the cotton strings and add to your compost or dispose in the organic waste collection.
